A club website that updates itself.
APEA Akrotiriou FC
Results, fixtures and the league table come in every morning from the Cyprus FA, along with transfers and the club's own Facebook posts. Nobody at the club has to update the website after a match.

Most club websites are only as current as the volunteer who updates them. When that person is busy after a match, or moves on, the results, squads and news fall behind.
The data
Nobody at the club types results, fixtures or the league table. The Cyprus FA already publishes them, along with each player's appearances, goals and cards. Transfers are on Transfermarkt, and the club already posts its news on Facebook. The site collects all of it every morning.
What we built
A scheduled job runs every morning, collects results, squads and the club's Facebook posts, and publishes them to the club's site. Nobody retypes a score or reposts the news after a match. A small admin area covers the pages that rarely change, such as sponsors and the shop.
What it does now
- League results, 2026/27
- 16
- League fixtures to come
- 104
- APEA match reports
- 2
- Players in the squad
- 29
The site went live on the club's own address in August 2026, after a first build in April. A scheduled job refreshes it every morning. Last season stays on the site as an archive of 176 league results.

What we'd do next
Add the U19 side. Its page is already on the site, but nothing collects its fixtures and results yet. After that, run the same build for other Cyprus FA clubs. Each club's data is already stored separately, so the work left is a daily job that covers every club, matching each club's web address to its own data, and taking APEA's name out of the pages.
